Pole position makes the difference
Despite a rather damp and decidedly gloomy weekend the Air Harrods helicopter shuttle service to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone sparkled.
Over the weekend of 5th and 6th of July Air Harrods successfully handled and flew over 100 passengers into the circuit for the Grand Prix. This meant full utilisation of the charter fleet of four aircraft.
Air Harrods teamed-up with the Offley Place Country House & Hotel in Hertfordshire to offer champagne breakfast packages to clients. The charm and accessibility of this feeder-site enhanced the overall experience for our customers.
On Grand Prix day flights took place from Offley Place and Battersea Heliport and, at the request of a major event sponsor, Air Harrods was delighted to collect passengers from Luton Hoo Golf & Country Club.
All Air Harrods passengers arriving and departing with Air Harrods at Silverstone transited the dedicated Air Harrods chalet, where on departure they were also served with afternoon tea.
It was a real shame, but no surprise to anyone, that the weather was so drab; it is after all almost tradition that this event be marred by the British weather. However, the Air Harrods service was deemed a great success and come rain or shine we will be there again next year!
If you would like your guests to experience a similar service or you would like information on the 2009 British Grand Prix on June 21st (date to be confirmed) then please .
