Helitech 2009

Helitech is the largest dedicated European helicopter exhibition and represents every tier of the helicopter supply chain. It is a biennial event held at Duxford Aerodrome that offers either exhibit space or hospitality chalets with static display areas to industry related businesses.

Both Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods are represented at the show and proudly hoisted our trademark green and gold flags on our dual-branded hospitality chalet to show everyone we had arrived. This year we had two S-76C+ aircraft outside the chalet on static display which attracted a fair bit of attention. Inside the chalet visitors would have noticed a commonality in design to our new EBACE stand as they supped tea and consumed Danish pastries. Hospitality was popular this year with all seats taken for lunch across the three days of the show.

Air Harrods took plenty of charter and specific broker enquiries during the exhibition and Harrods Aviation was able to explore some engineering opportunities with clients. We hope these discussions and possibilities will bear fruit in the fullness of time and prove this to have been another successful show for our two companies.
