The John Smith's Grand National, Aintree Racecourse

Each year 40 horses line-up to tackle the awesome Aintree race track. The four and a half mile course, with over 30 fences, is arguably the toughest horse race anywhere in the world.

starts at 4.15pm on the last day of the meeting and getting there could not be easier. Air Harrods can provide flights from London's Battersea Heliport directly to Aintree Racecourse. Flights take 1 hour 15 minutes but other departure points are available.
