Kate Bayes,
Managing Director
Kate joined the company in May 2001 after working in aircraft ground handling and customer services for a total of 11 years.

Kate began her aviation career with Air UK, and then moved to Britannia Airways taking on various roles that broadened her experience and expertise.

In 1994 Kate joined Servisair plc where a number of challenging roles were held. These included Station Manager of London City Airport and managing a Key Account worth £110m.

Kate held the position of Customer Services Director for Harrods Aviation until April 2008 when she was appointed Managing Director of Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods.

Paul Norton,
Finance Director
Paul joined Harrods Aviation in March 2007 after spending the previous five years in a senior finance position within the UK arm of a major international shipping line, AP Moller- Maersk. Prior to that Paul was with Care UK Plc and Finnish paper giant UPM Kymmene. After university, where he gained a BA in Economics,  Paul qualified in practice and spent time gaining invaluable experience with smaller business clients. More recent experience has been in the areas of international logistics, business restructuring and business process re-engineering.

Jay Gerritsen,
Technical Director
Jay joined the company in May 2008 after working as Director for GGAC Aviation Consultants Ltd and Arik Air Ltd as Director of Engineering and Maintenance.

Prior to this, Jay worked as Fleet Technical Manager for Virgin Atlantic Airways, controlling a budget of $15 million.

In his early career, Jay worked as a Senior Aeronautical Officer for South African Airways in Johannesburg.

With a solid background in aviation, Jay is a firm believer in the establishment of well supported teams to drive a business forward, and he aims to lead the technical and engineering departments of Harrods Aviation using this philosophy.
