A good deal all round
Air Harrods is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a management contract for an Agusta A109E on behalf of its new owner.

Both Air Harrods and the Harrods Aviation aircraft sales department have been heavily involved in all the contractual talks which have resulted in the sale of the aircraft from Air Harrods to United Spirits (GB) Limited, who are part of the UB/Kingfisher Group, and the subsequent management contract award.

Under the terms of the contract Air Harrods will support the owner's personal flying requirements, while continuing to offer the aircraft to its other customers for charter. The aircraft is Stansted-based and will be hangared, handled and maintained by Harrods Aviation whose services were also secured through the deal.

In January Air Harrods commenced charter flights in its new aircraft - an Agusta A109S Grand. The Grand is already proving to be a very popular aircraft because of its stylish looks and operational flexibility. The addition of the Grand to the existing Sikorsky S-76C+ and then the retention of the Agusta Power Elite for charter missions, brings to three the number of luxury VIP helicopters available for charter from Air Harrods today, with their fourth aircraft, a Sikorsky S-76C++, due for delivery in June 2008.
