It was the 3rd Duke of Richmond, who in 1802, first brought horseracing to Goodwood. Now, more than 200 years later, Goodwood is internationally acclaimed as being one of the most beautiful racecourses in the world. Flight time from London’s Battersea Heliport to Goodwood Airfield is 25 minutes.
