June saw the arrival of the new Air Harrods VIP-configured Sikorsky S-76C++ into the United Kingdom.

The latest version of this popular corporate helicopter was chosen not only for the personal use of our chairman and his family, but also for the many distinguished customers of one of the UK’s leading helicopter charter and management companies.

Due to a marked rise in demand for the services of Air Harrods, the arrival of this helicopter meant a welcomed increase in fleet size, bringing to four the number of VIP helicopters available for charter from Air Harrods.

The new helicopter, registered G-WIWI, went into charter operations at the end of June and is the only machine of its kind available for hire in the UK.

The Sikorsky S-76C++ is the latest derivative of the proven S-76 model, and benefits from many of the technological advances made in the development of the Sikorsky S-92 and S-76D helicopters. The aim is to offer passengers an even quieter, smoother and safer flight than ever before.
